Scalability: These pouches allow a soldier to "scale up" from a lightweight plate carrier to a full tactical vest configuration by adding side ballistic protection when the threat level increases.

Plate Compatibility: Specifically designed to hold the standard issue Enhanced Combat Body Armour (ECBA) side hard plates or the newer Virtus-specific side ballistic inserts.
