How to Use

1. Remove Coating: Scrape away the black protective coating on the rod to reveal the bright silver metal beneath.

2. Prepare Tinder: Place your chosen tinder (such as charcloth, dry birch bark, or cotton balls) on a flat, dry surface.

3. Strike: Hold the scraper at a 45-degree angle against the ferro rod and scrape down firmly to shower sparks directly onto your tinder.
